The All-New CamperKing Freedom – A Step Change for the T7 Generation

The CamperKing Freedom marks a major evolution in our conversions, designed specifically for the brand-new Volkswagen T7 platform. This next-generation model brings smarter engineering, improved safety and cutting-edge technology together with a fully electric off-grid setup—offering the most advanced camper conversion we’ve ever produced.

Built with our new CamperKing Smart Energy System, the Freedom removes the need for gas entirely. At its heart is a 300Ah lithium leisure battery (upgradeable to an incredible 1000Ah), powering the induction hob,  microwave, fridge freezer and all 240V sockets through a 3kW inverter. A 120W ShadowFlux solar panel provides continuous top-up charging, using smart energy management to maximise efficiency and allow true multi-day off-grid capability.

Inside the conversion, the Freedom introduces a brand-new layout designed exclusively for the T7. It features dimmable LED ambient lighting, a smart control panel with app access, wireless charging pad, and our new rail floor system fitted with the CamperKing deluxe ISOFIX 3 seat bed, offering exceptional comfort, safety and flexibility for travelling families. A 50-litre fridge freezer, induction hob, and leisure-grade microwave come as standard, supported by a 60-litre internal water tank with high-pressure rear activity hot shower.

This particular example is built on the latest VW T7 and benefits from all the advantages of Volkswagen’s newest platform: improved refinement, advanced safety systems, upgraded infotainment, and the reassurance of the 5-Year VW Promise. Compact and car-like to drive, it’s the perfect everyday vehicle that transforms effortlessly into a modern, capable off grid campervan.

Other highlights of the Freedom conversion include an elevating safari-style pop-top roof with fly screens and fixed side window, luxury 2” roof mattress with privacy hatch, and the CamperKing roof frame which retains the T7’s factory B-pillar and airbags for class-leading safety. A Webasto diesel heater keeps the interior comfortable year-round, while VanShades blinds offer privacy, warmth and a premium finish.

Inside you can also enjoy a stowable dining table, multiple storage lockers with a clean, modern aesthetic, and a wide range of USB, USB-C, 12V and 240V outlets to keep all devices powered. The smart energy system continuously manages charging and usage, with remote diagnostics available through the connected app.
